Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Meluro handles personal information when you visit meluro.com, contact us, or work with us.

Effective July 23, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information Meluro collects through this website, communications, inquiries, proposals, and service relationships. It does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, or services that operate under their own privacy terms. By using the website or providing information to Meluro, you acknowledge the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with Meluro, we may collect:

  • contact and identity information, such as your name, email address, organization, role, and other details you provide;
  • inquiry and project information, including your requested services, budget range, messages, files, requirements, feedback, and communications;
  • business and transaction information, such as proposals, contracts, invoices, payment status, and service history;
  • technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser or device type, referring pages, timestamps, requested pages, and security or diagnostic logs; and
  • information obtained lawfully from customers, service providers, public sources, referrals, and professional or business contacts.

Please do not send sensitive personal information, regulated data, passwords, private keys, production credentials, or confidential data through the website contact form.

3. How we use information

Meluro may use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries, evaluate requests, prepare proposals, and communicate with you;
  • provide, administer, support, improve, secure, and document services and customer relationships;
  • process transactions, maintain business records, and manage billing or collections;
  • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, unlawful activity, and technical problems;
  • protect Meluro, its customers, personnel, systems, property, rights, and reputation;
  • comply with law, lawful requests, professional obligations, and enforceable agreements;
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and enforce Meluro's Terms of Service; and
  • create aggregated or deidentified information and use it for any lawful purpose.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, Meluro relies on consent, steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests such as operating, securing, improving, and protecting the business and its services.

4. When we disclose information

Meluro may disclose personal information as reasonably necessary to:

  • vendors and service providers that support hosting, email, security, communications, payments, professional services, and business operations;
  • personnel, contractors, advisers, insurers, auditors, and affiliates with a legitimate need for the information;
  • government authorities, courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when Meluro believes disclosure is required or appropriate for legal, safety, security, or rights-protection purposes;
  • a buyer, investor, lender, successor, or adviser in connection with an actual or proposed financing, reorganization, sale, merger, transfer, insolvency, or other business transaction; and
  • other parties at your direction, with your consent, or as otherwise permitted by law.

Meluro may disclose aggregated or deidentified information without restriction to the extent permitted by law. Meluro does not currently sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly defined by U.S. state privacy laws. If these practices change, Meluro will provide any notice and choices required by applicable law.

5. Website technology and third parties

Meluro does not currently use advertising cookies on this website. Hosting, security, email, font, and infrastructure providers may receive technical information or use technologies necessary to deliver and protect their services. For example, the website is delivered through Cloudflare and loads fonts supplied by Google. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies and similar technologies. Because there is no universally accepted standard for browser-based “Do Not Track” signals, the website does not currently respond to them. Meluro will honor legally required preference signals if and when they apply.

6. Retention

Meluro retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to manage inquiries and services, maintain business and financial records, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, preserve evidence, and protect against fraud or security threats. Retention periods vary by the nature and sensitivity of the information, the relationship, and legal or operational requirements. Residual copies may remain in backups until they are deleted through ordinary retention cycles.

7. Security

Meluro uses safeguards it considers reasonable and appropriate for the nature of the information and the size and circumstances of the business. No website, transmission, storage system, or security measure is guaranteed to be completely secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you provide information electronically at your own risk and remain responsible for using secure channels and protecting credentials and systems under your control.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Meluro may verify your identity, request additional information, decline or limit requests where permitted by law, and retain information when legally or operationally necessary.

To make a request, email build@meluro.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable law permits, but Meluro may require proof of authority and identity. Meluro will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

9. Children

The website and Meluro's services are intended for adults and businesses and are not directed to children under 13. Meluro does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact Meluro so the information can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

10. International use

Meluro operates in the United States. If you access the website or provide information from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other locations where Meluro or its service providers operate, subject to applicable legal safeguards.

11. Third-party services and links

The website may link to or rely on third-party services. Meluro does not control and is not responsible for the privacy, security, availability, content, or conduct of third parties. Review their policies before providing information to them.

12. Policy changes

Meluro may revise this policy at its discretion by posting an updated version and effective date. Changes apply when posted unless applicable law requires otherwise. Meluro may provide additional notice of material changes when legally required. Your continued use of the website after an update constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.

13. Legal effect and contact

This policy describes Meluro's practices and does not create a warranty, fiduciary duty, or contractual right beyond those required by applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited. Meluro's Terms of Service, including applicable disclaimers, liability limits, governing law, and dispute provisions, apply to your use of the website and services to the fullest extent permitted by law.
